school, camping, bass lake

The first day of school, my little girl isn't really ready for Kindergarten is she? Emma was so ready for the big day, she had her clothes chosen and her hair-do planned. Mom and Dad on the other hand had a hard time letting her go. We went to the playground and into her classroom with her. She kept giving us the "would ya leave already" look.
She quickly found Jillian and Riva on the playground, these are friends from Kreative Kids Preschool, they are all three in the same class. YEAH!

Really mom, you want me to smile again?

Shocking that she chose a Princess bag, it is filled with Hannah Montana stuff.
We had to get in one more camping trip before school started. We headed to the South Hills.
We went on a four-wheeler ride and saw a dead cow, Emma was riding with Ed and this is what she said "Uncle Ed, he doesn't look like he's feeling so good" Ed was cracking up, and so were the rest of us once we stopped and he told us. She is very entertaining and we are glad that Ed loves kids. We are lucky to have such good friends/family.

Elly was ready to shoot anything that may come into camp! Daddy was proud.

A good one for the Senior yearbook!

Dara and her kiddos invited us and the Williams family to Bass Lake, thanks!

Maitea deciding which Little Mermaid character to make in the sand.

Elly having tons of fun

Loving the sand and water.

Emma is so brave now in the water, swim lessons this year are paying off. She would even go out to the far dock and jump off and then swim back.

This was our second to last day with Maitea before she moved to Africa. I'm glad the girls had fun together! They are sure gonna miss each other.

Emma looked so cute for the first day of school. Crazy to think she is old enough! I remember the first time I met you you were pregnant with her, on one hand it seems like forever ago and on the other hand it seems like just yesterday! Time flies...

Very cute! And I love the braided-look for her hair. It completed the outfit so nicely. ;) (Your Mom told me about the curler-look and how it just wouldn't work with that outfit.) Glad to see Mom and Dad held up okay. Wait 'til she starts Jr. High. Ugh! Seems like yesterday Hunter was starting kindergarten, and then...

Hi Hunts- Cute photos! I looks like you and your family had a great summer. One of these days I will get around to updating my blog. How does Emma like Kindergarten? Daisy is loving her new school (thank goodness!)
